New Work

Anna Parkina
February 25–June 19, 2011

Media and genres collide and merge in the work of Russian artist Anna Parkina, an intrepid explorer of the dynamics of perception and history. Using a visual language that sometimes recalls the early-20th-century Soviet avant-garde but is very much her own, Parkina’s works on paper reflect on the changes in Moscow since the collapse of the Soviet Union.
