This event is free with RSVP and takes place on a First Thursday when museum admission is free to Bay Area residents.

Don’t miss the museum’s first drag pageant curated by Marcel Pardo Ariza and emceed by Nicki Jizz. On the occasion of the opening of Zanele Muholi: Eye Me, this evening will celebrate the glamor, high heels, and fierce energy of local queer and trans performers. Starting at 6 p.m, performers will compete in different categories for the grand prize before a renowned group of jurors. This event will bring the best drag of the Bay!
Catch LGBTQ+ community organizations Somos Familia and AGUILAS tabling in Helen and Charles Schwab Hall on Floor 2 from 1–5 p.m.
