Join us for an online conversation with artists Elaine Chu and Marina Perez-Wong, together known as Twin Walls Mural Company. Their work Our Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams (on view on Floor 5) depicts themes of healing and resilience amid imbalances stemming from COVID-19, generational trauma, pollution, and inequality.
Our Ancestors’ Wildest Dreams is one of five commissions by local artists for Bay Area Walls, a series that considers the COVID-19 pandemic and unfolding crises of 2020. Chu and Perez-Wong will be in dialogue with SFMOMA curators Eungie Joo and Erin O’Toole.
