SFMOMA is closed on the following public holidays: New Year's Day, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. SFMOMA closes at 4:45 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. The Museum is open the Wednesday between Christmas and New Year's Day.

The last admission is sold 45 minutes prior to the Museum's closing hour.
Advance ticket holders and SFMOMA members can skip the line at the general admission
desk. However, once inside the Museum all visitors may still encounter long lines
to enter popular exhibitions.
Visit SFMOMA and five other San Francisco institutions with a nine-day CityPass. The pass also includes a Bay cruise and a seven-day passport for Muni and the cable cars. Passes are $54.00 for adults (a $97 value) and $44.00 for youth ages 5-17 (a $81 value).

Visitors may borrow wheelchairs and strollers from coat check.
Cameras
Photography is not permitted in the galleries. Flash photography
is permitted only with a handheld camera in the Atrium.
Cell Phones
Cell phones are permitted only in the Museum's Atrium on the first floor.
Cell phones must be turned off in the galleries.
