Programs available for sponsorship include:
  • Teacher Programs
SFMOMA serves nearly 1,000 educators each year with three Teacher Institutes, an annual Teacher Open House, and a Certified Self-Guided Touring Workshop. Teacher programs use SFMOMA exhibitions as points of departure for discussions that integrate modern and contemporary art into the classroom curriculum.

  • School, Youth, & Family Programs
SFMOMA offers family-friendly activities on the third Sunday of every month. Annual programming comprises 10 Family Studios, which feature hands-on activities — such as drawing, painting, collage, printmaking, and assemblage — led by guest artists, and two Family Days, which include performances, storytelling, tours, and family-oriented art activities linked to SFMOMA's major exhibitions.

  • SFMOMA Matches
This multi-visit program introduces teenagers to modern and contemporary art through pairings with SFMOMA members. Adult enthusiasts help teens discover an interest in art through gallery visits and Museum tours. Each participating student receives a free Museum membership and has the opportunity to bring his or her significant adult to the Museum.
