Artist Talk: JR

Thursday, Sept 27, 2018

7 p.m.

Join us for a special talk by renowned artist JR. Working across different media and often on city streets, JR’s practice gives both presence and voice to marginalized people around the world. He will discuss his sweeping body of work as well as give a special preview of his forthcoming commission at SFMOMA, which will open in the Roberts Family Gallery in April 2019. This first floor gallery, just off the entrance at Howard Street, is free to the public during the museum’s normal operating hours.

This program is part of SFMOMA’s Phyllis Wattis Distinguished Lecture Series
